Default Sorrow's Furnace (Summer Update) contains Dungeons !

http://www.guildwars.com/gallery/gws...ots/gw073.html

http://www.guildwars.com/gallery/gws...ots/gw070.html

I'm not sure of course, but these two screenshots look like they were made in a Dungeon ! I hope Sorrow's Furnace contains more Dungeons, since Guild Wars doesn't have many

It's a pitty Sorrow's Furnace contains robots. In Guild Wars you play in the time of Knight's, not robots..

There was a robot in the preview video. Also Sorrows Furnace is a mine, so of course it's gonna be underground.

About the robot, this is a fantasy world. They can do whatever they want. I personally hope they add crude machineguns or grenade launchers like in the goblin area of Dungeon Siege. Also the seer is a creature from "another world". I can't wait until the 10th to find out who won the name the boss contest.

NOOO, 1 robot is enough !!

I liked Dungeon Siege, till I came at those stupid goblins with modern flamethrowers and tanks attacking you.. I mean, I was walking around with my sword and iron armor, and they were blasting me with tanks? That's just so stupid.. Times shouldn't be mixed together like that, that idea is just so stupid. I actually stopped playing it when I came there.

I stopped playing it when I realized it was nothing but Diablo 2 except with party elements. :/

What's wrong with robots?

I have been dreaming of seeing robots since day 1. I thought the closest ArenaNet would ever get was the enchanted guys.
YAY for daleks.

Now we just need a seer invasion....massive spaceships landing in old ascalon...

"Need party for into the mothership" Cool

Maybe the seer could colonise a new continent and we have a war with them. This continent could contain new buildings, dungeons, creatures, loot. A whole new game within guildwars but still maintain its prime attributes.

Can't wait for xpack 1,2,3......

The first pic looks like its in an abandoned mining shaft. See the scaffolding that could have been where the miners could have been setting up their mining stations? And also the broken road/trail on top of the dwarf that a mining cart would follow.

Further add... would you complain if rangers were given laser guns, warriors were given light sabres etc?

New creatures mean new loot. Nobody knows the far future of guild wars.
It will change "eventually". It has to, or it will become tedious, boring, old news and outdated.

Not everyone likes new things and ideas at first but Guild Wars has to maintain at least some degree of variety.
Everyone has aspects of the game which they don't like. Chill.

I do agree that episodes in time shouldn't "mix" though. Good point to make.

Dungeons are good tho so I hope the original poster is right and I had the same impression when I saw the shots. This game needs more dungeons and interior places methinks.

I dont mind seeing some sort of mechanic golem... just dont call it robot of course =P

I hope that golem serves as a big boss type like glint... with good reward of course.

A strong boss that don't rely on minions... but if that golem start shooting missles... I will be pretty upset =( I don't mind big iron cannon ball thou.

Am I the only one who absolutely loved the Pre-Searing Catacombs dungeon? I always wanted to see what it looked like Post-Searing, but it's all collapsed =/

On an unrelated note, am I the only one who notices the Banshee type creature standing next to the gravestones when you exit Ashfor Abigail?

A robot? You guys lack imagination.

I think it's a kind of Iron Titan or whatever you want to call it. Obviously it's not made by the Stone Summit, or it wouldn't burst out of the rock like that.

Of course I could be way off and the Stone Summit did just build a Metal Gear.

Which would be lame, indeed.

There is plenty of temporal disuption in GW already. I mean when we have favor in the game you still see lit up statues in the past world (or future depending on your location) of pre-seared Ascalon and still get the server echo when someone wins in HoH, like news of the victory travelled back in time 2 years to reach you :/

You dont have to buy this expansion do you? I think GW was worth $35 so they can throw in couple expansions for free I'd say.
